    While all Arc Rated (AR) clothing is Flame Resistant (FR), not all FR clothing is Arc Rated. FR fabric is designed to self-extinguish when the ignition source is removed. AR clothing goes a step further—it is tested specifically to protect against the thermal energy of an electric arc flash. For electrical workers, we strictly recommend our Arc Flash Coveralls and shirts that meet ASTM F1506 and NFPA 70E standards.
